OUR EDITORIAL NOTE
Good stories begin with paying attention.
Northline Journal is a fictional publication built to demonstrate a real, native Astro integration.
Its pages, links, search and filters work in the browser. The journal uses Astro’s ClientRouter to navigate without a full page reload, so this is also a test of translation lifecycle handling.
What is being tested?
Public text and dynamic content
Interface labels and public stories can be translated. Newly revealed content should use the same language, and revisiting a translated page should reuse cached wording.
Customer content stays yours
Input values and rich-text editors are not rewritten. Saved user content needs an explicit exclusion on the element where it is displayed.
Language and search visibility
This widget translates visible text. It does not create localized URLs or promise search rankings. Native multilingual SEO needs a separate URL and indexing strategy.
